Mr. Abidi is a licensed and registered Professional Engineer with years of diverse experience in both the engineering design and energy consulting. He is a Certified Energy Manager, Certified Building Commissioning Professional, Multi-Family Building Analyst, Certified Building Operator and a LEED Accredited Professional with specialty in Building Design and Construction. He is also an active member of various engineering organizations and local chapters. He has presented on variety of engineering and energy efficiency topics through various platforms. His experience ranges from serving private as well as public sectors throughout his career.
With a strong engineering background in green building design and construction, he has served real estate sectors including commercial, residential, hospitality and institutional facilities through designing, energy auditing, commissioning, retro-commissioning, troubleshooting and generating specifications for system upgrades. He has also been engaged in research studies involving data analysis, energy modeling, technical report production and program development. His passion towards energy efficiency and sustainability is reflected in his day-to-day activities.
